I installed Internet Explorer because, it seems, Quicken will not operate
without it. I never use it directly. However, while some visiting sites
with Firefox, IE comes up with an empty screen - with some javascript stuff
in the URL box. Something in the html, I guess. Anyway to stop this? I
have popups blocked in Firefox. I'd just as soon never see IE.

Could you provide the URL of a page that causes Firefox to open IE?
As an alternative, what is the exact URL that gets opened in IE?

Regards,
